Itโs
my honour to share with you my Healthy Fast Food (HFF) journey, from E to E
quadrant, from being an employee to an entrepreneur!!!
Allow me to introduce
myself further. I came from a poor family with 3 siblings. I used to get
financial assistance from school since primary school time due to low family
income. All my classmates had the opportunity to have tuition after class but not
me. My parents canโt afford to provide extras other than the bare necessities.
Sometimes, I didnโt even have enough pocket money for food, etc. Because of
that, I learn to save hard since young.
Not only that, I also study
very hard. As I thought with a good qualification, it will guarantee me a
bright future, thatโs the golden rule, isnโt it? I always passed my
examinations with flying colours. I was always the 1st in the class
and also the 1st in the school level! Because of my excellent
academic performance, I became the pride of my father where he used to retain
my gradebook for a few more days after his signature, so that he can show it
off to his friends. I yearn to earn money since young, I started my 1st
job by working in neighbourhood coffee shop when I was 14 years old. During the
few months while waiting for O-level results, I even work 2 jobs to save my
pocket money. I also work as part time promoter whenever I have semester
holidays during my university time. I sailed through my schooling years
smoothly till university where I also got scholarship to complete my degree
with first class honour.
After graduated from university,
I came to Singapore to look for job opportunity as I believe Singapore will
have a lot of golden opportunities. That was in year 2004. However, I got my 1st
job offer as a purchaser in a short span of 2 weeks time with a very low
starting pay. Do you want to make a guess how much is that โ 1st job
offer as a 1st class degree honour? S$1,200!!! If you were me, will
you grab the job offer? I did, as I believe I will definitely have a bright
future here as this is Singapore! With my diligence and excellent work
performance, I progress well in my career path. I joined engineering industry
in year 2006 with my salary more than double than my 1st job. I
worked very hard and performed very well in my job. I will surely get
recognition in my every job position too! If you were with me in March 2007,
will you grab this job opportunity with 30% increment? Yes I did. That was the
start of my nightmare in fact, where I joined my last company in March 2007.
After 1 week of honeymoon period in the new company, I was assigned to a
Philippine project. What was more, the project lead was sacked immediately
after I joined the project. Though being new to the company, I was left alone to
handle the project by myself with little guidance from my superior. Then I
understood there is definitely a price to pay for with such a decent salary
increment! However, this didnโt really scare me off. I took up the challenge
and managed the project well. However, the price to pay for was, I didnโt
realise I was under tremendous stress until my body showed up the sign of
protest! I was down with very serious acne problems in just a few months in the
new company. I still remember it was in July 2007, as that was also when I met
my husband, Damon. If you were me, how did you feel? That was the very down
time of my life where I lost my confidence, I didnโt dare to look at people
when they talked to me and I will always rushed home after work. And what about
my weekends? Yes, I will spend my weekends staying at home as I donโt want to
see anyone. I desperately look for solution where I resorted to skin doctor and
facial salon. Took hormone pills, bear with the excruciating pain for those
chemical facial treatments, so do you think it helps? Definitely not, that was
only after knowing the science of Nutritional Immunology (NI), then only I
learnt that it didnโt treat the root cause as this was caused by hormonal
imbalance issue. No matter how you treat externally, it wonโt cure as the issue
came from internal! Also, that was the 2nd time encounter with E.
Excel where my ex-colleague, tried to introduce me skincares when I bumped into
them in the toilet. That time she was letting another colleague to try out the
skincares. Do you think I accepted the offer? Of course not right? What I did? I
quickly ran way. That made me recalled about my 1st encounter with
E. Excel, far back in my secondary school time, which I bought a bottle of
cactus juice (Millennium) for my mumโs arthritis condition. I heard that the
cactus juice is like miracle water where it will help my mumโs condition.
And the story continuesโฆI
continue to work hard and excel in my job position, as a result, I got the
recognition, which I much deserved for. I was promoted to the role of Senior
Procurement Officer within few years of hard work, being the 1st in
the company as well as in the industry to be promoted to senior role at a young
age, young in the biological age, as well as years of experience in the
engineering industry! However, I didnโt receive the same recognition from my
peer colleagues, guess what I get in return? Jealousy and boycott! I still
remember that was a time where my ex-boss need to call for a special meeting to
clarify about my promotion was because of my capability, but not favourtism.
Well, that was the turning point of my life, as I lost my usual lunch kaki due
to jealousy and boycott, which in turn connected me to my mentors in HFF! I was resistant initially too, but thanks to their tender loving
care, passion and patience, I accepted the science of Nutritional Immunology in
a few months time after doing extensive research. I decided to give NI food a
try when I was 1 month pregnant with my 2nd baby. Simply because one
person takes, 2 persons get nourished at the same time, that is the best and
super worthwhile investment, isnโt it?
So, I started as a pregnant
lady, as a mere consumer, do you think I see the business opportunity behind?
Actually yes, in a smaller scale. As I
remember back then, my mentors used to share with me โ to enjoy NI food, there
are only 2 ways โ to pay for it or to eat for free! I remember before I signed
up, I already asked my mentor to share with me the bonus plan. As I want to
know is it possible to eat for free! Guess what was my 1st reaction?
Impossible!!! But then when I reached home, I started playing around with the
bonus plan and feel so excited about the power of compounding!
That was how I started sharing the science of
NI with friends and colleagues just merely I want to enjoy buying the NI food cheaper
and ultimately free. I started attending the similar session like today, all
because I want to understand more about the science of NI, not the business
aspect. However, the session enlightened me with this new concept of there is
risks of 40 years working alone, and our realised are actually so small as
compared to our dreams! Which I never ever thought of it! When everything is
smooth sailing, do we think of โWhat ifโ? For health, we always talked
prevention, how about for career? Have you thought of prevention too? In the
case anything happened to you, do you have a solid backup plan already, that 1st
would be able to generate continuous income? It brought me back to an article
in the newspaper which I read years ago. It made me pondered about how to
afford for the high medical insurance of $4000 monthly during old age but soon
I threw this worry aside as I know there is always a restriction on how much we
can earn by working and I knew the only way out is by doing business. But then
I realised I donโt have any business ideas or capital and I just go with the
flow and letโs nature take its course as when I look around, everyone seems to
be the same as the largest population is employees. I started looking into this
amazing franchise business opportunity, with zero risks and minimum operation
costs, where I just need to invest in my good health with NI food, I can already
start the business! All because I knew that I definitely deserve more than what
I have! Do you think you can find any such business opportunity out there whereby
you can start the franchise business by just being a consumer yourself?
So do you think there are obstacles and
challenges for me when I venture into the business? Of course there are. Let me
ask you this. In life, will there be challenges always? Be it in job, family,
will you overcome it? Yes, same for HFF, most importantly is a choice you make.
Is the yield worth your efforts to exchange? In exchange of a freedom
lifestyle, what are you willing to do to achieve it? The key is about our mindset.
Have you all heard about the ESBI? Yes, as I was in the E quadrant for 10
years, now with only $200 to progress into B quadrant, without even needing to
try out the S quadrant as transition! So the mindset is important. In
employment, we do have budget, datelines, etc. to meet where our employers have
set it for. What happen if we donโt achieve it? We may do overtime, working
very hard to achieve it, right? In employment, we used to be work passively,
where the budget and datelines were set by the employers, by hook or by cook we
have to meet the target, but we are getting active income. Yes we are enjoying
the stable income but can we continue to enjoy it if we are not in the position
one day or after retirement? What about the dateline for our life project? In
HFF franchise biz, we work actively to achieve our goals, but what we are
enjoying is passive income. So I need to model what successful people think and
do, through reading, I am able to overcome the mental block.
The most common one that we may heard of is
no time. The fairest resources that everyone has is 24 hours, agree? It wonโt
change when you have more work and more kids, right? So, clarity about what you
want to achieve in life in very important. I became more committed to the
business when I came back from maternity in August 2012. Juggling with 2 young
kids, breastfeeding, part time on HFF, with a full time job, which I made it
through. The income was also very lucrative when I am enjoying 2 sources of
income โ from my full time job as well as the part time business in HFF! The
wake up call came only I saw what happened to my ex-boss. Being one of the
pioneer in the company, working very hard in his position, he was demoted by
the person that he brought into the organisation. I still remember the day that
he called for a departmental meeting to make the announcement for demotion!
Imagine if you were my ex-boss, will you choose to stay on for living or move
on for dignity? He chose to stay on for living, and now he was posted to
Mongolia! For me, I chose to be the Master of my Destiny, as I donโt want to
follow after his footsteps, it is like a mirror, which it could happen to me
too, should I choose to continue the path of the corporate ladder!
Have you heard of the power of laws of
attraction, when you want it, the universe will surely lead you the way!
So what are my gains in HFF journey? Firstly,
definitely is my health. One word to summarize โ ugly duckling becomes swan.
Most importantly, not only externally, but it shines from within. I see the
importance of building the solid foundation. Itโs something you may not see it
instantly, but over time. I am now 6 years into NI lifestyle, I can never
imagine myself to be prettier and healthier than single time. Same for my kids,
family and friends, they become healthier and prettier too. Can you imagine the
joy of you are the one that bring the gift of health and knowledge to them and
their family? Many of the families benefitted from NI lifestyle, because of
you?
Next is about time freedom.
In January 2014, I successfully retired myself from employment to become a full
time HFF franchise biz owner. For the 1st time, I smell the breeze
of freedom, as the 24 hours are within my control, I have redeemed the remote
control of my life where I no longer need to worry about Monday blue, I need
not to report 9 to 6 for job, I get to enjoy my morning workout in the morning
instead of rushing for mrt to work, I get to decide when is my family day,
family trip as it need not necessary to be weekends, public holidays or school
holidays. Not only so, I have more than 24 hours daily, as the business is a
franchise business, it not only compound your time, people, sales and income. Whatโs
more, you donโt even need to pay extra for getting these more than 24 hours
daily, the most valuable resources. Do you think you can do a lot more when you
have more than 24 hrs a day?

Next is about money. Do you want to work alone or have a team of like-minded
person to work together? As the saying goes โ if you want to go fast, go alone.
If you want to go far, build your team! I am no longer enjoying an active
income but a passive income, a secured income. Because even today when I am
travelling, sleeping, not in the position, the money will still flow in. And
whatโs more, the money is coming in by a compounding way! I dictate how much of income I want to make and itโs
proportionate to the efforts that I put in. The income is exponential! I have no
worries when expanding my biz as I will have zero liability when I have more
and more franchises. And they all are also franchisors.
To me, what is beyond measurement is the intangible
reward from HFF. Itโs truly a wholesome package as there are a lot more than health,
money and time freedom. Itโs the value of life! I choose to take control of my
own life now, rather than simply letting things happen to me later. I have transformed to become an optimistic,
passionate, proactive and confident person. I especially benefitted for my
parenting skills as I can apply what I have learnt in HFF in grooming my
children too. As I was an academic person since young, I canโt imagine if HFF
never happen for me, how will I groom my kids? Do you think I will be academia
too? What I learnt from HFF will directly benefit my kids as I am the best role
model for them! My kids now, who are age 7 and 5, already learned about
overcoming stage fright, making new friends, networking, etc. I can pass down a
legacy!
I learn to be a wise woman
too, how can I, on one hand, hold my husband, and on the other hand hold my
kids, also the family, so all are synchronised to move in 1 direction, all in
harmony. I also dare to dream again, I dream of staying in a bungalow!
Not only so, ever since I
turn full time with HFF, I have successfully challenged each and every of the
incentive trip. In 3 years, I have travelled with E. Excel to 4 countries โ
Italy in Jan 2015, China XiAn in Nov 2015, USA in June 2016 and Korea for the
30th anniversary in Feb this year, and upcoming next we are
travelling again with the big NI Synergy family to our dream cruise, sail from
HK to Vietnam, celebrating the 30th anniversary, together with the
E. Excellers from all over the world, in Nov!
Here, I would like to share with you a story.
A
mother and a baby camel were lying around under a tree.
Then
the baby camel asked, โWhy do camels have humps?โ
The
mother camel considered this and said, โWe are desert animals so we have the
humps to store water so we can survive with very little water.โ
The
baby camel thought for a moment then said, โOkโฆwhy are our legs long and our
feet rounded?โ
The
mama replied, โThey are meant for walking in the desert.โ
The
baby paused. After a beat, the camel asked, โWhy are our eyelashes long?
Sometimes they get in my way.โ
The
mama responded, โThose long thick eyelashes protect your eyes from the desert
sand when it blows in the wind.
The
baby thought and thought. Then he said, โI see. So the hump is to store water
when we are in the desert, the legs are for walking through the desert and
these eye lashes protect my eyes from the desert.
But,
why are we in the Zoo?โ
The
lesson of this story is skills and abilities are only useful if you are in the
right place at the right time. Otherwise they go to waste!!!
So, have you positioned yourself in the right place at the
right time?

and time freedom to be considered successful?
So, in the current path that you
are working hard for, are you going to get health, money and time, all 3
together? Or you may left with Hobsonโs choice, to choose 1 in 3, 2 in 3 or you
may even lose all 3 in the end?
Life
is about choices. Have you made the right choice? I believe everyone of us here
are working very hard for a better living, in pursuing our dreams for ourselves
as well as our family, but does working hard guarantee success?
I
have touched more and more lives. Imagine if you were my mentor, how do you
feel after seeing my transformation?
Do you feel happy? Whatโs more meaningful
that you also have the capability of transforming peopleโs life? To make their
lives different, to become extraordinary?
To also help more and more people who believe in the beauty of their
dreams to pursue and achieve their dreams! I choose HFF as my lifetime career
as I see the importance of working smart than just working hard. Itโs a matter
of making the right choice for our career as we only live once. Only by making
the right choice, then only we work hard for it!
And most importantly you can also bring this fantastic
business opportunity to anyone, be it your beloved family members, friends or
even strangers as itโs of no risk and low capital! And everyone of them
regardless of any background, etc. can also be successful in their life with
HFF business!
