Yesterday was Winter Solstice, in Chinese we call it 'DongZhi' (ๅฌ่ณ), a time for the family to get-together๐
One activity during this festival is the making & eating of tangyuan (ๆฑคๅ)or glutinous rice ball, which symbolise REUNION๐
Where you usually get your tangyuan?
Though it's now conveniently available in supermarket, some still prefer to handmade it...
For me, I chose to handmade it too (as we learn to excel the tangyuan making in the recent kids Xmas party๐)...
A super-duper nice cook-bond session with kids to handmade the tangyuan together๐๐๐ We all have great fun and laughter!!!
It's also a very interesting activity with kids, after all, it's their school holidays now!
