Overwhelmed With the Choices of Health Supplements in the Market? Why Not Back to Natural Wholesome Source?

Recently a girlfriend threw me a question, which is very valid!
 
With the many choices of health supplements in the market, how do I make an informed choice?
 
Do you know that even the health food has evolved to its 5th generation?
 
1st Generation: Chemical Vitamin (Calcium pills, folic acid)
2nd Generation: Extracted Vitamin (Vitamin C)
3rd Generation: Single wholesome food
4th Generation: Formulated wholesome food
5th Generation: Formulated wholesome food accordance to science of Nutritional Immunology basis. Products are manufactured with the use of wholesome ingredients. It emphasises individual ingredient’s nutrient and synergy, harvesting time, species selection, parts extraction, strict and advance processing technology to ensure nutrition derived at highest efficiency and safety.

Recently, there is increasing number of reports surfacing that vitamin pills and supplements actually do more harm than good, thus we need to make an informed choice.
Supplements such as Vitamins are the substances chemically extracted out from fruits and vegetables. Once these vitamins leave their original form, they become very pure which lose its wholesomeness already. Thus, there will be likelihood of overdose, leading to side effects such as kidney and liver failure.

How do you know whether this is supplement or wholesome plant food?

We can look for the nutrition panel which can tell whether it's a supplement or wholesome plant food.
If it's labelled with Supplement Facts, it's supplement. However, food which is labelled with nutrition fact doesn’t mean they do not contain supplements, such as vitamin fortified food, on the nutrition fact; a few supplements are listed out also.

I guess not, because this is not called supplement, but FOOD label - VegeColor!

Although some of the person may say, well, I always follow the prescription when taking vitamins pills, it will be alright! But do you think you may be still overdose? Reason being you hardly avoid taking vitamin-fortified food such as biscuit, milo, oat, cereal, bread, and other beverages which have been added with vitamins. If we consume vitamins pills on top of vitamin-fortified food/ beverages over a long time, it's not surprising if one day we found out our kidney / liver is malfunctioning due to side effects brought by these supplements...
 
If given a choice, a whole plate of vegetables and fruits vs. a whole plate of multivitamins, what do you choose? I have got a 100% absolute answer for the 1st one - wholesome vegetables and fruits! Hence, it's always better to go for wholesome plant food nutrition. We need to consume at least 15 different types of  vegetables and fruits daily to ensure sufficient amount of nutrition for our immune system. To get a good health, our immune system has to be healthy and balanced as do you know Who Is The Best Doctor In Thw World? It's none other than our Immune System! And next I want to congratulate you as you have it with you since birth!!! 
 
With our hectic lifestyle nowadays, how many of you can ensure an sufficient intake of at least 5 types of vegetables and fruits daily, for you and your family members? Especially your lovely kids?
